Constanze Staab, Instructor & Guide
"Life is an adventure and every day is a wonderful surprise" – a friend

I remember visiting the Thingvellir National park once in winter, standing at the Silfra fissure. That dark crack filled with crystal clear water surrounded by snow and ice captivated me instantly and I knew I had to go in there myself... The next day I scraped my last money together and booked my first dive at Silfra.
During my master studies in Marine Biology I focused on coral reef ecosystems and I am therefore well acquainted with tropical diving. However, I just recently opened my mind to cold water diving, and I am amazed by the possibilities awaiting on the horizon. I fell in love with Iceland’s rough landscape and unique natural history already many years ago. Coming here to work was an easy decision, as it is a challenging opportunity I couldn’t say no to.
