Jukka Siltanen, Lead Guide & Instructor

The cure for anything is salt water — sweat, tears, or the sea- Karen Blixen

Jukka Siltanen

Hello! I'm originally from Finland and moved to Iceland in 2015. I learned how to dive in 2006 and the lovely reefs of Western Ireland lured me to the dry side and cold-water diving in 2007. Since then I've worked in diving and other projects in Israel, Tanzania and Finland. I'm a PADI & SSI Master Instructor, and recently finished my M.Sc. thesis in the economics of protected area management at the University of Iceland. I love underwater photography and just the feeling of being underwater - it really makes me feel like I'm in another world!
