I am half Icelandic and half American. I grew up in the States, but spent each summer here in Iceland with the maternal side of my family. I am currently studying the history of medieval art and literature and am writing a master’s thesis on medieval Icelandic manuscripts. However, my bookish interests are paralleled by my love of the outdoors, and Icelandic nature in particular.
