On this tour we dive/snorkel Silfra and then visit the Geysers and the waterfall Gullfoss.

Diving in Iceland - Silfra Lagoon

At Thingvellir lake we will take one dive through Silfra cathedral and Silfra LagoonAll about Silfra crack.... If you don't dive, you might want to snorkel in order to experience the fantastic visibility in Silfra as well as the feeling of being in a crack between the American and Eurasian continent.

After the dive, we will have a hot cup of coffee and then head to the geothermal hot spring area - GeysirThe official website of the geothermal area with the geysers "Geysir" and "Strokkur".

Your guide will show you around and tell you some interesting facts and stories about the spouting geysers "Strokkur" and "Geysir" as well as the area.

! It is a magnificent nature site and shouldn't be missed by any Iceland visitor.

After a day full of impressions we will drive back to Reykjavik or wherever you stay and you will surely have no problem falling asleep.

The trip takes approx. 8-10 hours.

Availability: All year around.
Guaranteed departures on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Other departures upon request for minimum 4 participants.
Prerequisites: Participants must:
- be at least 150cm tall
- be comfortable in water and be able to swim
- be physically fit
- be ready to wear a sometimes tight & constricting dry suit
- not be pregnant
Divers need to have an entry level scuba diving certification (PADI Open Water or equivalent).
Duration: 8-10 hours
Please bring: Warm clothes, long underwear, thick socks, especially in the winter.
Included: Free transport from and to hotel in the Reykjavik area, 1 guided dive in Silfra, all necessary equipment, light snacks, entrance fee (ISK 1.000,-) into Silfra, guided tour to Gullfoss and Geysir.
